“ Being from the South this was my first time ever having a Reuben Sandwich. This Sandwich was amazing!!! I can not express enough how much I loved this Sandwich. I highly recommend KINGS . I gave the atmosphere four stars due to it being a little too hot inside the building, but trust me its well worth it. ”
“ I’m originally from NJ and my friends and family grew up eating from a deli chain called Coopers Deli. The best pastrami sandwiches ever. Huge sandwiches. Well I’ve been searching all over Georgia since I moved here in 2016 for a Coopers, well a deli like it. No luck. Well Kings popped up on my for you page on TicTok and I said I’m going tomorrow. So here I am at Kings. Have to say I was a little disappointed they were out of pastrami so I got corn beef on rye with mustard and yellow cheese. The only way I eat my favorite pastrami sandwiches. It was awesome. I live in College Park and that sandwich didn’t make it home I will go back but I will call first to make sure they have my Pastrami. And the customer service was also awesome. Thank you Kings you brought me back to my childhood ”
“ My experience at Kings Cornbeef & Deli was absolutely amazing. The staff (owners) were extremely polite and took pride in providing excellent customer service. The inside of the restaurant was very clean with appealingly modern decor. We ordered a pastrami sandwich on an onion roll with Swiss cheese and mustard, a hot dog with peppers and onions, fries, one beef and one chicken empanada, a spicy guacamole burger, and a double cheeseburger. We also got for dessert a slice of cheesecake, two slices of red velvet cake, and one slice of lemon pound cake. The star of the show for me was the pastrami sandwich! I’m originally from California and I’m used to enjoying succulent pastrami sandwiches from well known establishments. The search for a great pastrami sandwich to fill that void had been unsuccessful until I tried this one at Kings! The pastrami was juicy, tender, and had great marbling throughout, which exceeded my expectations. I’m not a fan of super lean pastrami sandwiches, which I have encountered a lot here in Georgia, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out this one was not the case. The onion roll was nicely buttered and toasted, the Swiss cheese was melted and flavorful, and the mustard added the tang and acidity to bring everything together. If you’re going to eat a pastrami sandwich, you have to enjoy it the way it was intended to be and never cheat yourself out of the indulgent experience. The next highlight was definitely the burgers! The spicy guacamole burger provided a nice kick and the burger patties were extremely flavorful and definitely premium quality. The double cheeseburger was a simple, yet delectable burger that really allowed the quality of the meat and cheese to shine. Both burgers were very hefty and one would easily be enough for two meals. The hot dog was hefty as well and the peppers and onions were grilled nicely, which delivered a wonderful harmony of flavors. Both the chicken and beef empanadas were flavorful, nicely fried, and paired perfectly with the chipotle mayo. The fries were fresh and crispy and seasoned very well. The desserts were all very enjoyable and added a delightful finish to the meal. Overall, my experience at Kings Cornbeef & Deli was absolutely amazing. Everything was extremely fresh and cooked to order; the owners were very friendly and welcoming; and the inside decor was modern, stylish, and appealing. I highly recommend this lovely establishment to anyone who enjoys excellent food and customer service and I look forward to having many more wonderful experiences here for years to come. ”
“ OMG!! REAL Corned Beef and Pastrami in the ATL! I must admit, as someone that has had, what I believe to be some of the best pastrami and corned beef in this country I was pleasantly surprised to finally experience New York level pastrami and corned beef right up the street from me. Kings Cornbeef and Deli is a true Atlanta hidden treasure that really shouldn't be "hidden" or a secret. For my first visit I decided to try both the Reuben and a Pastrami Sandwich. My husband and I went with the 10 oz Corned Beef Reuben on Grilled Rye Bread, with Russian Dressing and White American Cheese and Sauerkraut and a 5 oz Pastrami on Grilled Rye Bread with Mustard and Swiss Cheese. He chose the Reuben as his favorite while I chose the Pastrami as my favorite. We rounded out our meal with an order of french fries and the the chipped beef potato salad which my husband really enjoyed. I appreciated being able to see my sandwich being put together right in front of me. There's something about seeing that pile of meat covered in gooey, melted cheese being placed on freshly grilled/toasted bread that makes me happy. They also have burgers and other food options and serve breakfast beginning at 7 AM on Monday-Saturday and 8 AM on Sunday. Kings also has plenty of seating available so if you have time to sit and enjoy your sandwich know that you can. They also have To Go capabilities as well for those that would like to grab your food and go. Clean, spacious and conveniently located, they are situated in a plaza basically right off of I-285 at the corner of Fulton Industrial Blvd and Donald Lee Hollowell going towards Veterans Memorial Highway. The staff is pleasant, the place is clean and the food is great! If you have a chance and you love the taste of a delicious corned beef or pastrami sandwiches and you miss Lou's Deli in Detroit or Katz's in New York, Kings is definitely worth a visit. I'm headed back today! ;) ”
“ The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. Their warm welcome was only overshadowed by their love, enthusiasm, and passion for what they do... and what they do is make the best corned beef sandwiches in Georgia. Kit (I hope I got that right... I'm horrible with names), owner and chef, heard my family was from Cleveland and when I visit one of the first things I do is get a corned beef sandwich because I can't find good corned beef here in Georgia (trust me, I've tried looking). Kit let me try a slice of that and the pastrami. He let his food do the talking and boy... did it talk. He then brought up his version of a special burger you can only get in Cleveland area (his is called the deli burger) and he saw how I got excited. He made me one to try. From the moment I tasted it, I thought it tasted better than the original. I went back up to the counter and bought another to take my mother who was born and raised in Cleveland. (She loved it btw). This place is a hidden gem. It is slightly off the beaten path, but it is well worth finding. I highly suggest getting a sandwich packed with loads of juicy, tender, delicious meat! I only wish I had the skills to properly state how good the food and people are there. Kit and his wife (sorry I have a horrible memory... wish I could remember her name) were a total pleasure to talk to. I only hope more people can experience what I experienced! OH BTW.... their kitchen, bathrooms, and while restaurant was super clean too ;) (these things matter) ”
“ TLDR: So worth it! Will return and can't recommend enough. New favorite spot in the area. Ordered 3 different sandwiches based on reviews and menu. Loved them all so much I was looking for reasons I was rong. Maybe I'm hungry? Maybe it's a fluke? Maybe the stars have aligned and I won the taste food lottery? Or maybe they just that good. *They are* Had to leave the parking lot after 1st half of BBQ chicken grilled cheese sandwich and 2 bites of the next chicken grilled cheese. I felt myself going back in for a couple more "for the road" sandwiches. Hadn't even tried the regular bishop sitting in the bag still. Sent photos and location to my spouse on the other side of the country in case she, or anyone she knows, is ever in the area. Great for taste and stomach. Bad for budgets and non exercisers. Waited about 10 minutes or so for my order. Forgot about that until I started writing this review. ”
“ It was my first time visiting, and I'll definitely be back! I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it and paid extra for toppings-lettuce and tomato. I didn't expect to have my toppings on the bottom of the sandwich, making the bread soggy, extra wet, and messy. My next sandwich won't be hot and I'm sure I'll enjoy it better. Because it was my birthday, I also received a free cheesecake slice that was absolutely delicious! ”
“ Found this restaurant by accident. I’m glad the dinner flags were outside. The deli burger was juicy and the bread was crisp and crunchy. That caught my taste buds off guard. A delightful surprise. And that sweet potato cheese cake was just delicious. I bought 3 more for my UPS coworkers. ”
